I only carry on. Don't have time to wait 30 min a flight for a checked bag. I fly twice a week, and I don't care about your feelings.

I would too. I'd look like the fricking Michelin Man if I had to.

They actually have 4 oz reusable bottles that you can put your stuff in, too. My wife has multiples for each one and has her products in them. Obviously that's going all in for travel, but it's certainly possible.

hair dryer will fit in a tiny carry on.

Dear all women everywhere.

Every single hotel everywhere has a hair dryer in the room so you don't have to bring your own!

I never have an issue and often help people put theirs up. What I hate is the people who put the stuff in the front, knowing they are behind the wings. They slow everything down. If everyone took their bags to their aisle then loaded it would move faster.

We went to Costa Rica for 5 nights last month and I told my wife I wasn’t checking any bags so she had to pack in a carry on. She lived

Oversized bag? Dont they have to fit the required measurements?

Yes, that is how it works. OP doesn't appear to know that.

I learned the hard way in CR that bringing a regular size suitcase is a massive pain there.

If we ever go back I will actually pack light and just bring a backpack (think large backpack for camping).

Have another down vote. I try to avoid checking luggage at all costs. It’s a pain in the arse.

And they all suck for women that have long hair. Guys don't get this because they don't have long hair to dry. Yeah if you have short hair a basic hair dryer will do the job.

Using a hotel hair dryer would seriously take at least 60-90 minutes to fully dry my hair. Then I would have to spend another 30-45 minutes straightening it with a straightening iron.

I have a special hair dryer brush (that isn't massive really...actually smaller than a standard hair dryer) that allows me to straighten my hair as I'm blowing it dry. Takes me 30-45 minutes now to fully dry my hair instead of the usual hour before.

The reality of that is we usually require a lot more stuff than men to do that.

You should buy a better hair dryer.

My wife's hair is stupid thick and it doesn't take this long.

I've gotten free drinks several times from FA's b/c I'll help women with their luggage.

One of 'em gave me a whole of handful of those little Wild Turkey 101s.

People with real work, making the world go round don’t have time to go and fetch a bag.

People who really matter arrive whenever the frick they want. They're who you sit in a conference room waiting on so you can start your meeting, peasant. If 30 minutes in an airport matters to you, you don't matter.

The people who do matter sure as hell don't have to worry about carry on versus checked baggage in their G6.
