I check bags sometimes but try to carry on when I can.

Flying with a toddler, we may as well check bags because we have to check shite for him anyway. I have tried to Carry on with all his shite in the past. frick. THAT.

I looked like a packmule walking around ATL.

I also check occasionally based on how short my layover is. We typically fly out of a very small regional airport that red tags carry-ons plane side. If I only have 45 minutes at my layover, I hate waiting 20 minutes for them to bring the carry-ons to the jetway. It's easier to just check a bag.

Have you ever flown into New Orleans on a Sunday Night? On top of their typical ineptness, there are like 2.5 people working in the entire terminal. On this day it definitely cost us an hour.

They should charge for carry on and make checked luggage free. Speed the loading and unloading process up

the airlines handle their own baggage, not airport personnel

I’ve never had an issue with someone simply putting up or retrieving a bag. If it takes a couple minutes extra to exit the plane, who fricking cares. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
