agreed. I am not stuffing suites into a carryon. They are the same people that jump up when the plane lands, stand there bent over, trying to push through to get out first.

Erroneous. Unless you are going somewhere for a week or need to carry winter gear, it’s way more efficient to carry on.
We took a two night trip to Tampa last week- one of my buddies insisted on checking his bag while the rest of us carried on. When we arrived into MSY on Sunday night at 7:00 PM it took us an extra hour at the airport because he had to wait at baggage claim.
Checking a bag sucks.

Not once have I seen a flight have a delayed departure because of issues with people and their carry-on bags. It is a non-issue that people love to bitch about just because they love to bitch.

Some credit cards will refund checked bag fees. Even for free I won’t check a bag

Or lost at another airline. My MIL lost her bag for a week long trip in Greece. The bag somehow went to bumfrick northern russia that only has 3 days a week they fly out of. She didn't get her bag back for a month.

You should be complaining to the airlines for allowing such large carry-ons that basically don't fit in the bins. I always do carry-on if I can swing it. Checking bags is a bigger waste of time than waiting for people to get off the plane.
