I had a weird situation happen on facebook...

And I don't know what to think of it. I got a friend request from this dude with my same last name...not that uncommon of a thing to happen. What's strange, though, is his profile picture is one of me...in uniform during an awards ceremony. He doesn't have much on his page, just that he works for the Army and is part a few random groups (soccer fan or some shite). He is from Ohio which I have no connection to. He has just a few FB friends, one of whom is supposedly also in the army. Any idea what is going on here?

Recently, on my 'suggested friends' list, there was a guy with the exact same name as me. He only had 4 friends, but 3 of them were my mutual friends (one of them being a close friend). I sent a message to the dude to see what was up, but never got a response.

yeah, it's a new facebook scam that's going around. Usually the person adding you doesn't change it to a picture of you until after they add you and change their name to your name. they then add all of your friends saying that your other account got hacked and to defriend it and add the new one.
I only know about all of this because someone posted a "warning" the other day about this type of thing going down.
