I am thinking she had a family member in a car asking her to see if anyone is home so they could rob it.

I don't get this at 11:30 though. Even if you get no response at the door, seems like they'd reasonably assume the homeowners are asleep. Maybe they DGAS if they're asleep or not, but why not pull this stunt in the evening time when people may actually be gone instead of 11:30 when pretty much everyone is going to be in their home?
