For the most part, this city has handled the situation much better than I expected. Other than the small pocket around where the shooting was and the corner of Airline/Goodwood last night, things have been surprisingly quiet.

I know things could change but so far, it's been impressive.

I hope we can keep it going.

Good job, BR!

It's the outside agitators that will bring trouble if anything

I agree but I tend to think that, since we aren't in nearly the spotlight we were now that the tragedy in Dallas happened, the outsiders will reroute and go to where the cameras are. JMHO.

I was watching this chick's Periscope this morning. She was with the new black Panthers next to the convenient store.

Anyway, someone wrote a commeny asking when they were going to riot (lol), and she went on and on about how if the BR cop isn't convicted, that's when rioting would start. I had to disconnect at that point, I was so angry.

Same here. As long as it's peaceful, they can voice their displeasure all they want.

The lack of looting has been something to note. Just hope the people being bussed in don't light that fire.

That's what I think will happen. The trial will be probably 8 months to a year from now. If the verdict comes back innocent that's when people will starting doing dumb shite.

It's like with Rodney King, people didn't riot when he was beaten, rather when the cops got off scott free.

Not saying it's right but people will be outraged if nothing happens to these cops.
