An A from would be the easiest route, where can I get one of those? Lowes? I'd prefer to have it hung from some kind of pergola, and maybe without slats have it be a solid roof so I can sit outside while it's raining. If I do that how much am I looking to spend (assuming I don't build it myself)?

If you can't mount it under a covered porch, you just got the gift that will cost you.

Build a porch.

Jesus Christ man, I'm not going to be here every day to walk you through life.

That's kind of a dickhead gift, a porch swing with nothing suspend it from, such as a porch

Kind of like giving someone a lawnmower engine... thanks, but where's the rest?

I have a large concrete slab with nothing on it, I could build something over that. Maybe cabana is the right word (not straw roofed)?

Will your trailer park allow you to build a porch?

Nail the chains to the roof of your trailer. You won't be able to swing, but at least you can sit in it.

I built a 10x16 pergola myself for $2500. It's a lawn master brand (Home Depot) pergola kit. It's very nice aesthetically and sturdy as can be. They sell larger and smaller models. Prices vary based on size. If u want a covered roof pavilion, the price goes up obviously.

I fricking hate HOA nazis. Build your porch man. Just because someone drives a sweet 5.0 doesn't make them king of the neighborhood.

Thanks, I looked at their site and the pavilion is what I'm after. Was it difficult setting up?

Attach legs to it and make it a bench

Not difficult. Just time consuming. Took 2 grown men about 14 hours

Change of plans. I'm just getting an a frame and spending the rest money on dry walling the house. I have several rooms with wood paneling so I'm going to redo those.
