Did we just go back 20 years?
Also, how the hell did they get anyone to advertise in this?

I get one every year. All I can figure is enough advertising pays for it. I typically just toss it in the trash. Sad trees are still being killed for crap like this.

It's not the same as the old ones. It only includes companies who paid to be in it.

I’m envisioning it weighing about 10 lbs and costing a small fortune to ship.

Or is it the size of a magazine these days?

"You still aren't so sure? I can tell you several of your local competitors are already signed up. By not signing up, you are signed up to being left out the next time anyone out here needs a [tow, tire shop, radiator, roof job etc]".

It wasn’t too big. Like the size of a big magazine. Can’t remember the last time I saw one.

If it still works the old way, they don't ship it. They pay people $10 an hour to throw out 100 of them in an hour (or so).

Tort lawyers doing God’s work. I think they prefer advertising this way as opposed to having their faces farted on while adorning bus benches.

yellow pages book

Those have never been worthwhile. They only have listings of paid advertisers.

Worthless.

I remember getting my first place and taking a phone book home from work (they had like 30+ and didn't care) and thought that was what made it a legitimate adult house versus a college kid crash pad. Having a phone book.

Ha! Never used it once.

Are you thinking of advertising tigerdroppings.com in the Yellow Pages?

It's $49.99 to have a business listed in the NOPLA version.
