We live in a day and age where everyone wants to not just go about their lives but be internet famous. Facebook, YouTube, Instagram= all me all the time. I think these people want to be able to say they were there and have somehow got it in their minds that they are doing the same things as Martin Luther King. It's no different than the SJW nerds who are just starved for attention.

jmho...

It's not really about Black people.
The people funding it don't give a rat's arse about any of our "Lives".
It's not even about anything "Mattering".

The timing of these riots is kind of telling. To me,anyways.

Because there is no real struggle today. All but the poorest live better than kings of old. They are not truly oppressed. There are benefits for any who want it at every turn. They live in the land of plenty and many do nothing to deserve or work for it.

I'd trade every one of the entitled fricks for hard working immigrants straight up. Those who don't want to work shouldn't eat. Those who work for a living and appreciate what they have shouldn't be forced to subsidize the irresponsible breeding of the lazy.

That's probably the most perfect response to these stream of thought threads.

Mass oppression does not exist anymore. This movement is about wanting special rights for anything they want to complain about.

It's about bringing awareness to White Americans about the racial injustices this nation systemically employs against minorities.

....yeah that is what protests usually are for. To bring attention and awareness to an issue. What else would a protest be for?

I understand that, I am saying from watching quite a few protests for many it's not about the message but more of a "look at me, I'm a protester"

You are the most cliché person on here. You're like the prototypical internet tough guy, complete with "I look over Baton Rouge" in your profile. What a nerd.

Glad to know you're part of my fan club.

And looking over Baton Rouge is part of my job description. You're welcome.
