Also, the years of struggle don't even seem real anymore. It is a drawn out version of a woman forgets the pain of childbirth when she is presented with her baby.
My life is far from simple, easy or perfect, but that angst I started feeling as an adolescent finally lifted. Age does have some benefits.

good for you, My wife and I are retired now and are able to do so much stuff together (like travel) we never had the chance to do before Carpe Diem!
