I'm about 90% sure she was lip syncing too.

I was surprised at how good he sounds. Maybe retirement was good for his voice Bc he sounds better than ever. His voice seemed deeper and fuller.

Also, the tickets we have or on the backside of the stage. I realize that it's a circular stage with seating all around, but after seeing the show, what do ya'll think about those seats? Will I be very disappointed?

not saying you wont have fun, but only someone who sat behind the stage will tell you those are good seats

I dunno. She played that slow song that Leann Rymes did better, she played a couple other slow songs I never heard, she played her big hit She in Love with the Boy which was fine, and she even brought up a fat backup singer to sing a slow song we never heard.

Back in the 90's in the PMAC that crazy dude would swing out over the crowd from a rope. Hit some people with his boot heel but I think they were from LP and felt honored.

Garth opens

Actually the Friday and Sunday shows have/had an opening act. It was cut out of the Saturday shows for time constraints.

The opener is singer/songwriter Karyn Rochelle. She has a great voice. Not bad for an opener and she also is one of his backup singers all night too.

There was a way better concert on the 4th.

Eta: 5th, actually.

No he wasn't. There were multiple times he missed a word or 2 from being out of breathe and seemed overwhelmed at times by the response from the crowd.

He was defiantly singing himself

No opening act on Friday in Houston. But that backup singer did sing a song during Yearwoods set. She's talented but what a drag that part was on an otherwise awesome show.
