And in one of the alligator videos from today, you could hear his friends talking in German in the background.

I’ve been to Europe. Europe sucks. They are so oppressed and they don’t even realize it. They work their blue collar jobs, get off at 5, go to the pub, go home and do it all over again. Then in the weekends they watch soccer.

Sometimes in America you have to make a decision. When it is the only motel with rooms and the top Google review describes it as "a toad hole," you just have to decide whether a bed makes that much difference.

Real mistakes of this kind are made while driving I-10 across Texas.

Once. And only once.... Have I ever stopped. Abilene, 2009. Room smelled like cat piss. Walked back up to the desk. Tossed them the keys and said we weren't paying. Drove straight through to colorado springs.

I have never stopped ever again.

As for the Germans, the scale of a lot of US things are shocking. For them a 30 minute car ride is an oddity. For me that doesn't reach the grocery store.

Japanese people love Nashville for some reason. A lot of Japanese companies set up their North American headquarters there and there's even a consulate. Before the late 90's/early 2000's, Nashville had a very small Asian population.

If you want to pursue a fun rabbit hole, Japanese people love western culture.

They do.

Also heard the topography in North Central Tennessee is very similar to interior Japan. There's also a lot of Whiskey distilleries too and if you’ve been to Japan, you know they can shoot a lot of whiskey.

I’m 100% sure that there’s more to the story… or you were charged

Now I’m even more pumped for my trip to Japan next summer.

This is interesting, as Japan chose Nashville as their training base and team headquarters.
