Well then you need a real hard punch in the face as an attitude adjustment.

These guys are great. They have several videos where they bring America classics (Popeyes, CFA, etc) to UK schoolboys and their headmaster and film their reactions.

There is an emerging new genre on social media I label European pandering. These visitors effuse with unending praise, implying America superiority to their countries and culture. And certain American audiences, especially those who say they need no validation from outsiders, eat it up.

It extends beyond that. I first noticed in in music reaction videos that feature almost nothing but praise. It's often black listeners hearing rock "for the first time" who can't believe how good it is etc etc.

It as if some Americans actually believe them that American sunsets are somehow superior or that a Waffle House breakfast tastes better than a good English or Scottish breakfast or that a rinky dink SEC stadium in the middle of Auburn is more impressive than the stadiums of Europe.

Well, all of Europe has about 65 stadiums that seat over 50k. The US alone has nearly 100. And their big stadiums are NEVER dedicated to fricking college sports. It DOES blow their mind that college sports is so big here.

So there is nothing rinky dink about those stadiums from their perspective.

As for the Germans, the scale of a lot of US things are shocking. For them a 30 minute car ride is an oddity. For me that doesn't reach the grocery store.

Had a couple from England over for Thanksgiving and I asked them if they get together with their families like this very often ( we had 35 people at my house ) The wife said she had a brother in Scotland but they rarely see him because the drive is so far. I asked how long it would take and she said 3 hours. I had a funny look on my face and she picked up on it and said oh I know you Americans don’t think anything about getting in a car and driving 6 hours to the beach.

I lived in Tokyo for six years. I like the south.

First thing I did arriving back home was to turn full circle and realize I was back on earth and not surrounded by millions of short people.

People have convinced a hot blonde Swedish to go to Flora-Bama for the 4th

She is one of those influencers only doing it for clout IMO but still funny that she is about to see shite she never thought possible
