How many sell chargers and icees?
Seriously, I appreciate the marketing behind it. They turned a gas station into a place many people see as a "must stop" if they are going to pass one. Its a place where if people have to use the bathroom, they will not just stop off anywhere if a Buc ees is around. The few times I have gone, well I know one time it was like 2:30PM on a weekday and it was packed. The majority of the pumps were being used, people inside, looking around and buying shite so I can appreciate that part of it.
My nephews want to stop by every time they are going to pass one, one time the beaver mascot was there and kids like that shite. And that's smart, that's building life long customers.
One thing I thought is interesting, when I learned this, they are not built for 18 wheelers, which being on the interstate seems like a bad idea considering all of the trucks that pass around the clock, but they targeted everyone else besides the 18 wheelers/big trucks. If someone needs to stop off in the middle of the night and sleep in their car or something, does Buc'ees allow people to do it in their parking lot?

seems like accommodating the truckers and their rigs would be counterintuitive to their marketing approach

And super clean shitters, and good brisket and beef jerky, great hot sauces and salsa, PFG shirts, and of course nuggets.
What’s not to love?

Just stopped at one a couple days ago, got some ethanol free gas, took a piss with no wait and you could eat off the floor in the bathroom, grabbed a smoke turkey sandwich & Belly Washer Diet Dr Pepper for $10. In and out in less than 10 mins

And this is great. My issue are people who MUST stop no matter what. We don’t need gas, or to pee, or to eat because we just did all of this before we left North Houston. We don’t need to stop 2 hours away just because.

Stopped at the Macon GA location last summer and there was a longer line for the men’s room. It moved relatively fast but the amount of gents looking to test out the stalls was impressive

Meh, it can be a pretty annoying place on busy travel days. People on top of people walking around like it’s their first day on Earth. But gas, edible food, and consistently clean restrooms all in one stop is worth it. Usually.

It’s the only place I will go #2 when heading out to our property. There’s that…..

I am not a fan, but I hate wasting time when I am on the road. I have stopped three times over the years, the last time was in Katy and it took what seemed like forever to just get to a pump and back out onto I-10. Their gas isn't Top Tier, which I prefer not to buy.
I understand why people like them, but I just don't find them to be very useful for the way I travel.

The best Buc'ees comment I heard was from someone that post here. It read:
Their bathrooms are so clean that I will leave my house and drive to buc'ees to take a shite.

Same here. I have asked if anyone here has had any issues after fill up, but no one ever commented.

Well you never been obviously

I'll drive another 20 miles down the highway just to avoid Buckees. It takes forever to get on and out of there because of all the traffic.

I understand your hate. They don't allow 18 wheelers so there's no truckers there for you to blow.

Do they have any Early Cuyler type caps?
