I’m pretty simple.

I work in an essential business where I will always work from 8-9am til - whenever (usually 6-7pm if I’m slammed)

I come home and eat dinner

Watch tv with the wife.

10:00 or so I’m in bed

Wake up at 2:30 to rev up the servers

Take a nap until 7am

Shower and all that shite and get up to work between 8-9am

I’ve been in quarantine for the past 10 years

On weekends I might head out to the mall or something.

My back yard is the Gulf of Mexico. Can go fishing anytime I want.

I don’t do bars and nightclubs and movie theaters and restaurants that much

I work, fish, grocery shop, a little clothing shopping and chill for the past 10 years.

I can handle being quarantined- that shite is gravy to me

And I have a badass little hone gym I use everyday.

People are acting as if we're under martial law. It's nothing close to that

Just places where lots of people are gathered are shut down

Not much has changed in my life per se. i still pretty much do all the normal stuff.

The thing I’m truly grateful for though is that my next door neighbor has a super bad arse home gym and we have been using that everyday. If it wasn’t for that, i would be grumpy

Everything else is freaking great.

Most places of business are open here

Restaurants are take out only but somehow almost everyone else is somehow classified as an "essential business"

For instance we have a fabrication yard that builds offshore platforms in a neighboring town. They're considered essential. How TF can building an offshore platform when a barrel of oil is worth less than a 12 pack of toilet paper be considered "essential"

Honestly can’t tell if you’re bragging or complaining.

If a fire chief comes in and closes operations, is that not a version of martial law? That’s happening and it’s complete horseshite.

Outside of going out to eat and a movie here and there, has not been a huge change for me either....made me realize more I’m a workaholic.

Only change here... my commute is a LOT shorter, the number of 'pants optional' work days increased from 1 to 5
