Actually I am, that's why I would never go around putting fricking stupid inaccurate stickers on gas pumps.

I'd rather put a sticker of a naked woman or that black dude with the huge dick that people used to send each other text messages of.. Or something funny.

contortedly?

I am just curious. What has he done that has impacted your day to day life?

And this sentiment is why the Republicans always lose. Trying to play nice and trusting the Dems to do the same, playing above board and reaching across the aisle to compromise on legislation only to always get steamrolled because the Dems never ever reciprocate. They know how to win, but hey, the republicans look classy every time they lose!

I shan't attempt to reason with you as your mind is already alternatively made up.

Just saw your post after I made mine. How many of the down voters would like someone to put a Biden 2024 sticker on their private residence? I think we know how their hypocrisy will show

I have no problem saying that something is Biden's fault. Biden has been overall pretty shitty, but he isn't to blame for the gas prices as for as I know. But if you can tell me something that I am not aware of to explain why the gas prices are because of him then I would like to know.

You seem to be absolutely sure that he is responsible for gas prices so I really want to know how.

The replies to this show how low the country and how skewed some folks thoughts are.

I’m with Cosmo and the folks that think you should respect other people’s property.

Who in their right mind would pay a bill for a tank of gas.

The idea that we are losing our mind over the price of gases is indicative of much bigger issue. Why is the common man so reliant on gas anyway?

I have yet seen someone on here explain how Biden has impacted the oil prices.

For starters:

quote:

On the first day of Biden’s presidency, he issued an executive order canceling the Keystone XL pipeline — making good on his promise to the climate activists who helped get him elected, but inviting the lawsuit brought by 21 states on Wednesday who say they will be hurt economically by Biden’s decision.

They’re not the only ones unhappy with the pipeline’s cancellation.

During a January 22 call to celebrate Biden’s presidential victory, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau voiced Canada’s “disappointment” with Biden’s decision. And TC Energy (formerly TransCanada), which runs the $8 billion pipeline, announced plans to cut 1,000 jobs “immediately.”

quote:

the proposed pipeline expansion, which would deliver more than 800,000 barrels of carbon-intensive tar sands oil per day from Alberta Canada to Steele City, Nebraska, where it would meet with existing pipeline infrastructure to travel further south to oil refineries in the Gulf Coast.

Continue here. This is an older story but we're now feeling the effects:

quote:

President Joe Biden shut down oil and gas lease sales from the nation’s vast public lands and waters in his first days in office, citing worries about climate change. Now his administration has to figure out what do with the multibillion-dollar program without crushing a significant sector of the U.S. economy — and while fending off sharp criticism from congressional Republicans and the oil industry.

The leasing ban is only temporary, although officials have declined to say how long it will last. And it’s unclear how much legal authority the government has to stop drilling on about 23 million acres (9 million hectares) previously leased to energy companies.

And here, more recently from June:

quote:

WASHINGTON, June 1 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden's administration on Tuesday said it would suspend oil and gas leases that were handed out in an Alaska wildlife refuge during the final days of the Trump administration pending an environmental review.

Serious question, since I literally know nothing about energy economics: Is it at all possible that oil companies are increasing costs due in part to the pressure placed by a seemingly inevitable takeover of the vehicle energy sector by electric?
