I can’t imagine a more miserable beach vacation

than having to go to the beach and spend 3-4 days at a travel ball tournament.
Not knocking people who do it, just doesn’t seem like a fun way to spend your beach vacation.

My Daughter played travel and Mrs. Donkeypunch and I enjoyed the tournaments. That said, there is no way in hell that I would have wasted a beach trip on a travel ball tournament.
Mrs. Donkeypunch’s Sister went to Gulf Shores last year and the year before to the “World Series “ only to go 3 & Out. I asked them why they would waste a vacation and their answer was “it’s the World Series “. I think I hurt their feelings when I explained that the only World Series were ASA & USSSA where you actually earn your way in, everything else is just paying your way into another tournament.

The answer is easy. Junior can go play his game and his mom and I will be at the beach. He doesn’t need me to be at every game. That’s where this stuff gets silly. Parents thinking they have to be at every single game
