I have never seen a cat searching through a yard trying to find dog shite to eat.

And then come to his owner and lick the owner's face.

The chance your cat will kill you is very low but never zero.

Come to think of it, I don’t recall TulaneLSU ever mentioning having cats or dogs for that matter. Just “Mother.”

Hard to believe that a siamese cat weighs 25lbs.

Those things are fricking killers. Don't let anyone tell you differently. The only thing separating a tiger from a cat is their size. Plenty of big dogs like Great Danes aren't really "dangerous" but if you made a house cat the size of a Great Dane you'd basically have a fricking panther on your hands
This is true. Cats are far less evolved to depend on humans than dogs. If you live on a farm and your dog is hungry he relies completely on you feeding him. A cat that has not been declawed and is used to being outdoors will go find their own snack and then make another kill to bring home for the rest of the family.

d you're completely right. It's a trust thing. Once they trust you, they really are affectionate.

That’s exactly it. Dogs are kinda slutty (not that there’s anything wrong with that) and will let anyone pet it behind the ears, scratch its tummy, etc. Not a cat.

You have to establish that trust where the cat thinks you’ll probably not gonna hurt it, then the bond where it KNOWS you’re not. Then, they are different animals. It’s why non cat owners don’t like cats. Cats don’t like them either.
