I have an old .22 rifle, a Ted Williams model 3t from Sears, actually made by Remington or Winchester, I can't remember. Well, at least I did own it, before the boating accident.

would probably be interesting to walk down a Walmart, Sears, etc. if it were preserved from say 1985

Coincidentally, in 1985 I ordered a replacement convertible top from Sears for my 1978 Triumph Spitfire.

Every time I walk down the bicycle isle of a place, the smell of the rubber reminds me of shopping for my first bike at Western Auto.

Could also support your local bike shop.

You're kidding, right?
Seems like the local bike shops I have dealt with are highly overpriced and rely on the fact that most people can't perform simple repairs on their own.

They are not in stock at Walmart or a lot of places because everyone bought them during Covid Spring. Also, most of that comes from China, so it was probably restricted. You're still old though

Had that exact feeling when I went to a debate party last night.

In fairness, though, we were playing drinking games during it, so it's kind of a wash.

I think they are called Capitol Cyclery and they no longer carry Scwinns. Got my first 10 speed from Capitol Schwann on Florida Blvd.
