It's becoming nearly impossible to travel between Slidell and Lafayette without dealing with this bullshite. I DREAD getting on the basin bridge these days.

If one wonders why this keeps happening, just look at the cars around you on the interstate. People driving 75 mph with their face down in the phone explains it all.

while they're tailgating you to get over then weaving around cars to move up a spot like a nascar driver trying to cut a tenth of a second
I often wander why the hell the 25 year old driving a beat up 2009 Ford F150 is in such a hurry? Nobody's chasing him and he's not chasing someone... Lord knows that raggedy SOB isn't rushing to perform an emergency surgery, but by all means, put everybody's life in danger so you can make it home in 29 minutes instead of 30 minutes.
