As madisonville grew so did the massive traffic between the 190 exit and the Madisonville/Cov exit. It’s an obsolete tragedy traffic between these exits are forced to take either the interstate or a bridge that goes up every 30 minutes. There’s needs to be a parallel set of roads running next to I-12 for all the busy bodies that have to run to target every afternoon. anyone that grew up in Mandeville has someone close to them that now lives in madisonville so there’s just so much daily traffic between the two towns.

Unfortunately I commute to New Orleans and Baton Rouge from the Northshore. Yes, both suck. Last couple months it's been Hammond. Gonna have to take Hwy 190 while I'm there, at least on way home.

Yes, thats the problem really. Need parallel roads from Hwy 21 to 190, to 59 to get local traffic off the interstate.
