It'll also have it closed again shortly after that.

It's closer to Laplace than 310.

The number of emergency vehicles also doesn't indicate a simple vehicle fire.

That's two big accidents in that stretch in one day.

What's the appropriate number of emergency vehicles for a car that's on fire?

What the hell are you trying to do going to New Orleans at 1p on a Wed. Afternoon. You think you're just going to drive from city to city in La as you damn well please like they do in other parts of the country

Travelling east in that stretch in the afternoon usually isn't too bad. Little backed up in Kenner but nothing major.

As someone else said, today has been eventful for that part. Had an overturned vehicle that backed up traffic for miles this morning and now this.

In my experience it's 4 plus 2 MAP vehicles.

Looks like a big truck went too fast around the curve and flipped on it's side and caught on fire. OP is fricked!

You should try to get back to laplace so you can sit for three hours trying to take a left onto airline.

Right? And every time, you approach the second Laplace exit with a crisis on hand. Do you take your chances and stay on I-10? Maps says it's all clear......

You'd think with attrition that the number of accidents would begin to decrease.

I blame airbags.
