Yep, it does. I got caught on the Bonne Carre Spillway a couple weeks ago heading from Laplace back to N.O.

There was a truck hauling a house trailer that apparently blew out a couple tires and shredded them that was blocking the entire right hand lane and part of the left.

What should have been a 25 minute ride took me 1 1/2 hours.

It's a PITA to get caught on roads you can't get off of and are stuck until things are cleared.

Best way to prevent wrecks in that bridge would be to remove the railings in both sides on the roads. Texting and distracted driving would end. You would immediately have the safest drivers in the world!

Why the frick can’t they let cars get through slowly?? There’s plenty of room to let them through! frick them and their way of clearing accidents. It’s so damn stupid. Never seen a state with 4.5 million people have such ridiculous traffic woes like LA has. frick this place.

Good thing nobody's trying to drive from Baton Rouge to Lafayette to catch a flight, isn't it, cockgoblin?

18 Wheeler was on fire when we passed eastbound early this afternoon. The entire cab was ablaze and the cab had melted down to almost nothing. The trailer was still mostly intact at the same time too.

nope I-10W open, just got home to Laffy as I left BR @ 6:15p and burnt trailer was removed. Very slow traffic with the nasty weather conditions.

The fact that you remember our argument about us topic from weeks ago is very weird.

These stupid DPF systems are the most god awful inefficient monstrosities. I'm still holding out hope that Trump orders the EPA to revoke this crap until the technology is capable of not causing week long stints in the shop or causing the entire system to become an inferno.

Last week, a driver I know was parked for the night on I80 on Pennsylvania, he was stirred out of a deep sleep by some popping sounds, and didn't pay any attention to it. A few minutes later, someone started banging on the side of his sleeper. He peeked out the curtains, and the semi parked about 10 feet from him was ablaze, the popping sounds he heard was the semi's tires popping from the heat. He jum p ed up, started the truck and moved. He sleeps in the nude, and didn't even put on anything before he jumped in the drivers sest. He said that the driver was idling, and the FD theorized that the regen system caught afire.
