Great schools, decent area, traffic is terrible school hours. Right there at I-10 for BR access, I like the area in general.

Theres a few quiet spots in that area but for the most part its a traffic cluster. But I need the amenities, so I deal with it. Make sure you stay on the d-town side of 621 or your going to EA.

It was more about sending white kids to EA as the school was trending towards 75% AA and they were worried about a DoJ segregation issue. The EA school enrollment area was losing population and they also needed to balance the load
This is incorrect

When the new Prairieville HS is built, I bet they will redraw those lines more appropriately
LOL...This school will never be built.

The EA student population was certainly declining/stagnant while the STA and DTHS enrollments were increasing in 2008.
APSB definitely redrew the boundaries to "balance the load"
Now you tell me why you think APSB chose that area in particular as opposed to other, closer options...

Voters just approved funding to choose the site in an election last Saturday

You mean Racheal's place? It sucks. Go to the cottage. Its a much nicer trashy bar.

Google maps called the bar near there "cruzer's lounge", I'm sure the ashtrays could tell stories there.
