Husbands that constantly boss their wives around

We ate with a pretty big group after church today and two different couples were ruining it because the husbands kept constantly bossing the wives around and treating them like shite. Wtf is wrong with people, what a miserable way to go through life. I don’t know much on one of the couples but the other I know well and it’s always like this. The guy treats the wife like she’s completely incompetent at everything and that she needs him to explain everything to her and constantly correct her etc. I think in both those cases it’s a guy trying to feel like a "real man" by being in charge and making sure we all know who wears the pants but it just looks foolish.

Do you know anything about their personal lives?
Maybe she overdraws her accounts constantly, maxes out credit cards, forgets to pay bills, pick up kids. Anyway, there can always be a side you don't see since you are incel and live with your parents.

That's a white trash problem. I have no friends that do that, especially in public.
Can't say I ever witnessed it back in the day when I was still partaking organized religion either.
If anything, I've seen far more bossy wives .... just cannot remember a single bossy husband who we've associated with.
That's not to say that occassionally you might have to check your wife and get her to cool her jets every now and then. But do it with class and dignity, not with heavy handedness in public.

For one couple yeah I know a lot about their personal lives. If she overdraws the account or pay bills that doesn’t explain him jumping down her throat because she didn’t order fast enough or that she forgot to get a ketchup. And it never stops. I feel confident for that couple it boils down to the guy trying to show the rest of us he’s an alpha and says shite about "allowing" his wife to do this or that. The other couple I know very little about but their behavior followed very similar lines.
It’s pathetic, there’s no excuse for treating your wife (or husband, I’ve seen that too) that way.

Most people put up with that kind of behavior because they have low self esteem and lack self confidence. It's a huge shame how many people don't realize that love isn't hurtful, hateful, negative, or controlling.
