how so?
she has wifi, big deal
I have better cell service/wifi at my camp than I do at home and it is completely off the grid (power/sewer/water/roads). It is only accessible by airplane or boat

all it means is that there's a tower somewhere near her
or that she travels somewhere that does have wifi to update her blog

I admire those who are willing to live free. Work is slavery as are the conventional needs such as houses, cars and random possessions.

You will never talk to a person who is on their deathbed who says, I wish I had worked more.

In a traditional sense, living off the grid means living a life where you're basically hidden from the rest of the world. People who go off the grid don't want to be found and sure as hell aren't updating a blog.

I'm not trying to belittle what they're doing - it sounds great - but having little to no amenities does not necessarily mean you're living off the grid.

This will soon be banned in Louisiana, book it.

This is a nice idea as long as none of them get sick. Or come into contact with cartel.

In Mexico being kidnapped and held for ransom is a more clear & present danger to innocent bystanders and mores especially gringos. 270 Kidnappings per day reported in 2014, the actual number is many times greater than that. They just want the money.

BBC Magazine LINK

tl/dr: frick going to Mexico, I look like I have money.

I'm off grid at my place in Texas with the exception of diesel for the truck and propane for the stove. When I retire there in a few years I will have very little need for money, the biggest need being health insurance

I'll have no bills other than blue cross

Wrong.

If they are murdered first, it's no longer rape.
