I'm pretty sure anyone could fight off my 120lb lab by asking if he wanted a treat or saying "where's the ball?" And by fight off, I mean keep him from slobbering on them wanting to be petted.

You also could leave your lab outside with no human interaction, no training, no socialization whatsoever and it wouldn't hurt a fly.

A pit bull on the other hand....

Well my friend is one of those people who should own a pit, because he actually knows how to take care of a dog, and not neglect or abuse it.

Some people just shouldn’t be allowed to own animals in general. You can turn any animal into a viscous animal if you’re a bad owner.

I’ve seen labs that were abused and neglected, and turned into vicious animals. Shitty people do shitty things, and shitty people shouldn’t be allowed to own animals.

I’ve gone over to his house to dogsit this dog, all by myself, and it’s never been close to attacking me.

I’m willing to bet the 70 year old dead woman would have said the exact same thing when inheriting the dog.

Or, stop to think for a moment, shitty people find a breed that is strong, that they can make violent, because of their shitty human nature.

I'm not denying the situation that exists with pit bulls and the steel jaw. However, do you really believe you could fight off another large breed like a Husky, German Shepard, or Doberman if it was intent on attacking you unprovoked? I doubt I could.

Any reasonably healthy adult human is more than capable of fighting off any dog, you will be bitten but are more than capable of defeating it if you try.

There is a reason we set atop the food chain and are earths deadliest predator.

Saw one nearly tear a 2 year old kids ear off. Owner blamed the kid. Trashy breed mainly owned by trashy folks who want to be/act like they’re a badass.

It’s unsettling how every pit owner defends the breed in word for word exactly the same way. Y’all are a joke

Pit bull owners are worse than Biden voters. They’re functioning retards who “can’t be told nothin” and think they’re special because they own a dangerous dog breed.

I'll never understand why pit people can't get this. There is simply a mechanism in a pit that makes them more likely than any other breed to flip a switch. If you raise it the wrong way does it increase the chances of flipping that switch? Yes. If you raise it the right way does it decrease the chances of flipping that switch? Yes. But that switch is always there. And because of the way they're built, once it's flipped somebody is getting destroyed
