Where it's always been. That just shows parish lines without bodies of water.

If that shifts just a little to the west BR would have another Gustav. I experienced Gustav and that was no joke. Gustav was worse than Andrew and up there with Betsy. I'm so lucky to have survived Gustav. It was traumatic and memorable. I'm a survivor.

Remember when we all laugh about how of course there would be an October storm in 2020? Then 2020 laugh at us and sent Louisiana a second October storm?

I was out of power 2 weeks for Gustav, Bluebonnet/Highland Substation is in the Bluebonnet Swamp.

I would say we rebuilt and came back even stronger. I also consider myself a survivor of sustained winds of 60, gusts around 90.
And, this was before you could mark yourself safe on Fb.

I think Zeta could end up having some pretty significant inland impacts. It will be hauling arse, so it won't lose its punch quickly as it moves further inland. It will also be interacting with that front coming through. That's a fairly substantial late-October cold front meeting a potential hurricane. The severe threat, inland, for LA, MS, and AL could be significant.
