Everyone is complaining right now about LSU's budget cuts, but the looming threat that the campus is actually ultimately facing is storm surge from a major hurricane...a direct strike would turn the "Death Valley" section of campus into part of the Gulf of Mexico, right up to it where it meets with "Victory Hill." It's "not a matter of 'if' but 'when' " as they say, so ninety days out is a good pre-warning preparation time to gradually start restocking items while making your regular supermarket visits.

EDIT: These maps are for a Category 3-sized hurricane scenario.

We haven't had a serious hurricane in over a decade, those things are old news. Lol at the worry warts wasting time and money "prepping". Get a life and quit trying to scare people, loser.

...which also means we're due for one.

If I were trying to scare people, I would've pointed out that the map above is for a Category THREE hurricane...the storm surge is actually even much, much worse for a Category 5.

You just invested in MRE's or something? Knock off the fear mongering.

That's simply not true. Hurricanes are relatively harmless and should be taken in stride not fretted over like some Chicken Little.

Won't this be like the 10th year in a row they're predicting doom and gloom and we barely get a TD that makes to shore?
