This season is predicted to be the most active hurricane season in history

Every year they forecast an active season.

If I recall correctly 06-17 was longest drought in history of no Cat 3 or above hitting US?

Ahhh, the good ole way too early predictions.

48 named storms
24 hurricanes
16 major hurricanes
10 direct U.S. landfalls
New Orleans, Miami, Houston, Tampa Bay and Savannah wiped out.

Could you imagine a hurricane named Corona...?

Why don't they just put a big circle around the Gulf coast and the Eastern seaboard and say "risk for hurricane"...
