It actually looks more west to me.
NAM12km 00z run has it hitting sela as a cat 1. Others still running.

NAM likes to spiral assumptions, resulting in outlandish MB forecasts. It’s not good for hurricane intensity.
It having 995 MB at landfall makes me feel a little better since it always gives some dumb reading like 900 mb or whatever

The AI models are going to prove the most accurate yet again they have been honed in on the eastern side of the track for a week now. FL/AL border is probably a good bet for this storm but we shall see.

It has it weakening significantly at landfall. 990-995 at the point of landfall.
The 00z models seem to agree that the shear is going to maul it as it approaches land.
That’s good because honestly, this thing looks like it could bomb out under different conditions

There are like two, max three people you can trust on that website. Just like here
(Just for clarification: rds, duke and legend...maybe boat for inland weather) thats about it.
