It's just there in the latest gfs model. It'll change 19 more times by this time tomorrow so it's not even worth your time to look it up.

Okay. You're right.

I only want a threat of an arse whipping from Peej. All the rest is just noise.

Give it time, I'm sure he'll be around here soon enough to throw around a few threats while pretending to be liked.

I don't know how I became the enforcer in a hurricane thread, but I accept. I'm gonna knuckle check Deltaland, midfarm tiger, legend and a few others. Gonna get some act right up in this beatch.

Two/three/four separate ones pretty consistently each run for the past week or so. That's significant in my opinion.

Well if it does head to LC at least we know the lay of the land there. I think it was the cowboy church we setup at the last time. But I dont have a contact number for them... anyone else have it? I think it was a few miles south of LC. I lost a bunch of phone numbers when a phone died last year.

If someone has it can you email me at alphaandomegatd@gmail.com?

Not wanting it to hit anywhere but if it does the small amount of help we provide will be on the way.

what is the obsession with trying to predict these storms so far out
the cone of uncertainty will shift numerous times before anyone gets a handle on any threat
predicting it to hit Gulf Shores is a crapshoot at this point - it could anywhere from Texas all the way to Florida into Central America

It's not an obsession, some of us just enjoy weather and the data associated with it.

Personally, I'm trying to train my weather squirrel.

So you've moved on from sausage straws to training squirrels. You know they have sharp teeth right?

Dr. Rick McNabb, former Director of the National Hurricane Center

Only 2 storms have occurred in east Caribbean potential development area, during Aug 25-28, in past 150 years, both were recent: Ernesto '06, Gustav '08. Doesn't mean current system will even develop, but provides motivation to not tune out. Latest GFS similar to both of these.
