What about the system behind that one... TD14? Or is this TD14? If not what's TD14 supposed to do?

Pretty good agreement across the models that this will track into the islands. However, after that things get tricky with options ranging from Gulf to OTS. One of the keys to watch is how fast Jose moves out and how the ridge builds in behind.

TD14 is behind 96L and it will move harmlessly out in the Atlantic.

Green models look like they were made by someone using a Spirograph while under the drunk or high.

So my vacation to Punta Cana may be ruined? Do I need to cancel my trip to Punta Cana?

I'm betting it's a fish storm and will go out to sea. I'm basing this on absolutely no facts other than that's what they do this time of you. I don't know why they do it, but they do it

Would you explain what this means for someone that knows nothing (me)?

Well this is absolutely horrible for the islands.
Hope most Americans are off the islands. Rubble is going to bounce.

Jose hangs out, bremuda high steering 96L has a weakness north open up and 96L is out to sea most likely.
Jose runs over for a European vacay, high builds in West and pushes the storm toward the USA.

The problem with this track is that it puts islands like Antigua, St. Croix, and Puerto Rico in the bullseye. A lot of people evacuated to those islands, and that's where a lot of the relief efforts are being staged.
