He said 135 right before that. And said it's cat 4. Wondering if he had some accurate equipment or just drama.

Yeah Jeff is a douche for Irma. I think Harvey scared the shite out of him. Marco Island got the eye wall and the highest GUST they got was 130. That's incredibly strong, but Jeff hasn't seen anything near what just happened there.

He was built up so much on here I decided to tune in with him. Not sure what I was expecting. But so far, to me it's mostly been him hyping every little thing while everything around him is meh.

That sucks.

Any updates about the caregiver that stayed in the Hemingway House in Key West?

With the eye passing over Marco island, I'm hoping some of the streams come back online

If he stays where he is, shite will get real, but he keeps backing away.

I understand he's trying to be safe, but I want my storm chaser to be a little more irresponsible.

Is Jeff exaggerating when he says he's getting 135 mph winds

From what I remember during Harvey, he was reporting on the radar indicated wind speed where he was. Since the radar beam is pointed up a few degrees above the horizon, the radar indicated windspeeds are the speeds up in the air. They're higher than the "ground level" winds (actually a couple of stories up), so it's a bit misleading for him to report those speeds as if he's experiencing them.

Just started getting big time wind in Pensacola out of the blue. That is not a good sign.

Well, just for a couple of minutes, now it's gone.

Switched over to him. Jeff disappeared anyway. Was just watching wind and rain, that's it. Jeff let me down.
