Slightly more breezy than it's been the last few days. Otherwise the weather won't look much different for BR.

Looks like they might've nudged landfall a bit farther east

I’m driving to New Orleans from Tyler, TX tomorrow after work. I don’t know shite about hurricanes. Should be fine by tomorrow night, right?
HA! I made a joke about this very post occurring earlier and got downvoted into oblivion

I would imagine as it slows down going on land that it will be a pretty significant rain event for the people that catch the bands

That's 250 hours out bro unless the Euro and GFS keep picking up on it nothing to talk about for now.

252 hours out and won't be much of anything until 8 days from today anyway. Not much to worry about now.

SLU Hammond says they are shutting down at 3:30 through Wed.
Classes will resume Thursday, if anything is left

Probably because it wasn't funny, like at all. Just a hunch.

It was totally hilarious, everyone laughed, children in India wept at its greatness, and it’ll probably win awards when this thread is reviewed by the committees

Looks like convection has more or less wrapped around the low level circulation over the last few hours. It's still heavily concentrated on the east side of the system, but the center isn't exposed any longer.
The system is also following the projected path pretty well, albeit slightly to the north of the projection.

Just got a nice little band come through Gulf Shores. Only lasted 5-6 mins. Gusty wind and sideways rain.

What’s latest projected time for landfall?

Thanks for the updates. Please keep posting them. I'm heading that way after the storm passes.
