Dr. Cowan is right to keep the "Maybe to the Gulf" arrow on his board, but it's hard to see that happening. Even runs that have this south of Puerto Rico still have the trough pulling it out into the Atlantic.

All four hurricanes this season have been in the gulf. It’s time to spread the love and have an Atlantic fish storm.

Not really.

Looks like it may take a turn north at some point. Hope that thing stays out of the GoM.

I will take the high planted over the south east with 110 degree weather just keep those hurricanes away.

Currently the overall synoptic pattern is our friend, High over the South and a High over the mid Atlantic and a trough cresting a weakness off our East coast.


Let’s hope we can just relax and watch a bunch of fish storms this August and early Sept.
