Isn’t it odd how tornados always find trailers?

Hey Duke can you send a link to where you are getting that image? Want to keep an eye on OIB.

Thanks for all the info you’re putting here

Was a typo apparently, still a 2 @ 110 mph.

Is this erroneous?

Oyster Landing, SC (near Georgetown, SC) getting onshore flow. About another foot of rise until high tide plus any additional surge. Will likely exceed water level of Irma of 3.35 feet above normal levels. Second all time to Matthew (4.71).

If you don't have radarscope, pull up the NWS radar from Wilmington or Charleston.

Just go to weather.gov, type in the location of interest and search. There will be a radar on the page.

Assuming the camera doesn't go out, it should get pretty good early tomorrow morning

Went out driving around for about 30 minutes, glad they have the crews already out and about and they are finally learning to stop going into downtown Charleston first.

Sitting on the front porch now just watching the rain

The feed will stop ever so often and another page pops up. Just use the back arrow and it comes back up.

It looks 2 HS age boys with their phones taking a video and parents there as well in the feed.

News is blowing the flooding out of proportion here in Charleston. The winds have driven the tide away. My street has less water now than when the sprinklers stay on for 30 mins. Power in most places downtown has not been affected. Winds are moderately strong however

My neighbor in Charleston called and said the water isn't nearly as high as it was for Irma in our neighborhood so I'm happy.

On the Emerald Isle live feed waves are starting to hit near the top of the pier. Really has picked up in the last few minutes there.

So no “major” status when the Dorian strikes the US.

So no “stalled” Dorian over the US.

This was a nothing burger got the US.

The two ways a hurricane does damage is to be a major or stalled.

Yeah. Up the coast is where the onshore flow has lasted much longer and is still ongoing. It is approaching high tide near Georgetown and the surge is still coming in there. Up to 3.2 feet above normal tide.
