I could be wrong... but I think that video is just a longer version of another that was posted earlier too. Think I saw that one around the same time while they were in the eye.... could be wrong...hope i'm not and that that family is safe.

If it doesn’t start making a noticeable turn before it leaves Grand Bahama by tomorrow afternoon there will be panic.

I was blasted on another site with a more local posting crowd for saying that.

Smart emergency management be damned, I guess. lol

Levi video is up.

Some good and not so good news for Florida - if Dorian stays very strong, it likely feels the trough more and stays offshore of Florida.

If Dorian churns over the ocean and starts to weaken from up welling, it doesn't feel the upper steering as much and may scrape through Cape Canaveral area up through Jacksonville.

should turn North it’s just when. If I was on the east coast of Florida I would really nervous... I hope they didn’t relax any. To close to call in my opinion..

If you're due west, you're fine. It's the Canaveral area that needs to stay alert.

Man the eye on this thing is one of the most constant and perfect eyes I’ve even seen in these storms, especially in the Atlantic.

Not even really a hint of an ERC.

Just imagine the madness of wobble watching if Dorian does a proper ERC and the eye bounces around the outer eyewall like they are wont to do.

True. Also, Levi tends to think the HWRF might be onto something with the Florida landfall. He said the long churn over the water is something the HWRF typically handles better since it's coupled to the ocean.

It would be weaker, but still a major storm in his opinion.
