my question is, how the hell did there happen to be 200 Muslims all working in the same plant at the same time? Is the Muslim religion that prevalent in that area?...

Somalians/Ethiopians now work in meat processing plants instead of Hispanics. Most of them are Muslims.

At my workplace, one day absent without a call in and they can fire you. I don't know what grounds they would use to sue the company.

They were not fired over prayers though. They were fired for not working.... The company tried to accommodate. Don't work and see what happens at your job.

Except that Cargill will win the lawsuit because they offered a reasonable accomodation/alternative. Can you imagine the precedent if workers are allowed to disrupt the production of a company for any non-safety related reason?

Their affinity for sharp objects. It's a legal outlet for them to practice on their innermost desires without suspicion.

There is one plant that has 200 Muslim workers? How many employees were there? That seems like a high concentration.
