that is a cultural thing in certain countries....these countries happen to be largely Muslim, but I don't think there is any connection between their religion and their hygiene practices.

I'm all about religious freedom but man in NJ muslims did the same thing with the school system, given an inch and take a mile.
They absolutely freaked out when the school board denied their demand that ALL children have off extra days for Ramadan and others. (When they already can have an excused absence for as many as they want for "religious" purposes)
