For me 40s was the best decade, old age pains didn't set in until after age 55.

I can believe it.

I've noticed a difference the past few years.

Early 60s is for Asian and Black women, those two age better than anyone until it hits. A 62 year old Asian woman will look 42 one day, but the next time you pick up some food a month later, the same person will look 82 and will have shrunk 2 inches.

For a long time people told me I looked young for my age but that shite fell off the ledge around age 55, lol.

Turned 60 this year and while I guess I’ve finally gotten more use to that older looking bastage staring back in the mirror, I’ve been fortunate (knock on wood) to not yet be suffering the general aches and pains nor having to be on any medications.

Try to work out a little bit every morning for half-hour. Nothing crazy. Switched from weights (which were starting to hurt my joints unfortunately) to heavy loop bands and that’s helped a lot.

Still trying to clean up the diet (I love bad stuff, lol) and have cut back drastically on alcohol.

I’m not going to beat Father Time but Good Lord willing, I can hopefully fend him off for awhile. Who knows but might as well try anyway.

42 for me dude. My skin dried up and I have to be careful with my chlorinated pool and hot tub use keeping CYA higher and not shocking before swim. Using lotion like a MF.
All else doing a-ok.

I can confirm both .... mid 40s and then again around 60.

Been telling friends and family for years.

My Father used to warn me ... he never needed a scientific study to know.

At 36 I’m still lifting and running and overall feel pretty athletic. It sucks to know I might as well buy a coffin at 44.

47 now. It takes longer to warm up when exercising but otherwise feel similar to 30. Face starting to look aged, some greys in hair but not enough to notice from afar. Greys in beard getting to about 25% and noticeable.

I’ve been thinking mid-50s is when I’d start testosterone therapy whether I feel like I need it or not. This sorta confirms I will.

Only 6’ but can still grab the rim with a little adrenaline from playing basketball.

My 40's were my best times as well. I was probably in the best shape of my life, I made some career changes that benifitted me greatly and just overall had the most fun. And I am a very active person in general. High energy

Now in my upper 50's and im starting to feel it. No doubt. I dont think there is any going back at this point.

7.5 years from the first. 36 has been the first year that I’ve started worrying about death, seeing myself older in the mirror, and counting how many years I have left before my kids leave the nest.

Reading these comments makes me realize we all go through the same shite. Love yall

My 44 hit me when I was 38. shite changed fast. Grays out of no where, the texture of my hair just went dull, paled skin, sleep like shite every night, more aches and pains. It was wild how fast it hit me.

I’m gonna be 43 later this month. Only thing I’ve noticed really dramatic so far is the eyesight.

I’m 43 and have noticed I have more aches and pains from lifting weights. Have to go much lighter now. But aside from that, main thing I have noticed is my memory, name and word recall and even reading skills aren’t what they used to be. I read every night to try and get the brain going. It is what it is.

52 here, eyesight went to shite at 43. Stopped wearing a goatee at 45 because it was solid gray. I've been lifting 5 days a week for the last 9 years so I'm stronger than I've ever been but have zero stamina. I worked in the yard yesterday afternoon for 30 and thought I was having a heat stroke. Something hurts every day now. Last year my Pops and I walked up to the bar together and were carded. Bartender looks at the last name and says "are yall brothers" FML (Pops will be 74 next month)

Mine went from "I've got a little grey on my face" at 40 to solid white by 44-45

Dude, most of us early-mid 30s have greys in the bears
