The white plastic cladding that was put on the side of the building during the renovation caught on fire and burned all the way up to the top like a match. This company is fricked.

apparently the 27-story building had 1... yes, ONE... fire escape stairwell... which also supposedly had some gas lines running through it

I've stayed in Pensacola in a building
this size that had a fire alarm going off in middle of the night. Its probably happened about five times that Ive been there (and there are residents livong there full time dealing with it all the time). I'm always grouchy about leaving but my wife and I leave and I carry my toddler down the 18 floors. Last time, one guy said he almost didn't come down because of troubles carrying his arthritic dog. I always worry about the people that stay behind. Here, if it's correct there were no fire alarms it's even worse. Prayers.

Holy shite, that is freaking horrible. Those pictures are unreal. Could you imagine you and your family being trapped and eventually burned to death?
