I have listed to Stern since the early 1990's. In the past 5 years, he changed from what made his show funny----crudeness, offensive bits, breaking peoples balls, pranks, etc. to constantly lecturing his listeners with his Regressive politics, so much so that I could not take it anymore and cancelled the S/XM package that includes his channels.
His interviews with other like-minded Regressive celebrities are boring and off-putting. Taking out the news segment with Robin was a mistake, although now he would have likely made the segment all about his political lectures. I have never seen someone go from funny to unfunny in a faster time frame. And it appears that he did so deliberately.
