Oh, there are a lot of salty ones on here. Some who downright hate healthcare workers. Struck such a nerve with me that I’ve been keeping a list and their statements.

True, they like to blame teachers for poor education outcomes. It's almost always the parents fault though.

Reality is we always go a little overboard worshipping various segments (first responders, military, moms, teachers, whatever).
Not that those trades/people aren't honorable and deserving of appreciation, but it becomes a situation where we're all tripping over each other to show who cares more, and it becomes a cliche.
Then you have all the folks who have the label but lack the contribution taking up most of the limelight, while those who deserve our thanks most just keep doing their job.
It becomes a cycle everyone gets tired/annoyed with, which is why you see some of the snark about health care workers right now.
