Drove the kids to the beach today. No one has once even mentioned anything about it being Father’s Day to me besides a random stranger at the gas station.
So a 1/10 I guess? Idk, really feels like I’m being punk’d.

My 11 year old hit a walkoff HR to win a PG tournament. Flame away at travel ball, but it was awesome gift even if it wasn’t intended for me.

Was a pretty great day on my end. We were at a resort and took the kids to a couple swimming pools. Great food to be had while the children played away. Pretty awesome.

Best Father’s Day I have had to date.
Cooked steak and had my father over Saturday evening.
Woke up early Sunday and went to our hunting land with my father and worked dogs for a few hours.
Came home to bacon and homemade cinnamon rolls. Worked on a small project I’ve been chipping away at after breakfast with my wife and kids help holding a board.
Shower, watch the CWS while wife went and picked up my favorite takeout food, and the eased into a 2 hour nap on the couch.
Woke up to my wife drinking margs and preparing dinner.
Awesome day.

Mom had a health scare and didn’t die. She was home with dad for our Father’s Day.

Golf with my 80 year old dad, my wife, my son and his girlfriend, my daughter and her boyfriend. It's nice to be able to get them all together and play a few holes while we still can.

With 2 of my 4 grandkids present, along with my son, that alone made it a great day. But towards the end, reflecting on my dad dying at the age of only 62, cancer, it was a bit rough towards the end of the family gathering. But those two 7 & 5 year olds, 100% full bore energy & cutting up, my day ended great. Neat card from my son, age 40: "Dad, growing up I felt you were so wrong about so many things. Now I know you were right about everything".

10 of 10. Wife cut the grass the day before, daughter baked me a cake, both brought me breakfast in bed and then left for band camp and I had the day to myself! Washed my truck, cleaned the hot tub, went to the cigar shop....nearly perfect.
