You would hate to live next to me. My yard is covered in trees and I don't rake chit... It's a losing battle I gave up long ago.

I can here you and your wife bickering back and forth and generally acting like anal assholes....

Good god I feel so sorry for your neighbors. I can see why the guy has only spoken to you a few times

You're worried about leaves and I got an engineer report back detailing 43 piers I need to fix on my foundation, including interior piers. Then, this afternoon I discovered rats had eaten my hot tub wires, ruining it and the mechanic called to tell me my transmission is out on my truck. I wish I was making this up.

One day you will figure out how much worse things can be. But I went out and had some drinks at dinner with the wife and kids. The sun will rise tomorrow.

Very late to this, but who in the hell rakes leaves? Just run the Mower over them with the bag on it.

I've got a leaf blower that also acts as a vacuum. get one of these and your hour of work turns in to 20 minutes of work. Problem solved.

If you're gonna rake them, I thought it was SOP to wait until most, if not all, had fallen.

I can see the OP running around the yard with a butterfly net or pool net trying to catch the leaves as they fall.

Could you imagine if these were oak trees dropping acorns. His head would explode. He would probably be out there with a shop vac vacuuming them up.

You're an idiot. They are not responsible for where leaves fall from a tree.

First get a fricking blower, people haven't used rakes in 20 years or hire a lawn company. I am amazed that their are people that really sit around and give thought to shite like this.

OP pissed me off by bot answering the question about what the prior neighbors did about "their" leaves.

fricking a-hole.

This thread has gone 5 pages, and you don't have a single upvote. That answer your question?

OP edited twice I think. First time he left the original text, but put in the bold part that's still there. Then he went back and took out the original post.

And just the fact that he got over 100 downvotes without someone trying to be cute and give him at least 1 upvote, or upvoting himself is pretty impressive too.
