He had TWO other officers directly downstairs, she wasn't going anywhere. The first uncomfortably gave him a WTF when he came up.

A straight arm bar takedown on that concrete deck could have killed her. The cop has got to do more thinking than the drunk.

But this arse handled this like a prick and those here supporting him would be singing a different tune if their daughter/sister/someone they love would have been treated like this hypothetically.

Wrong. I wouldn't even tolerate my wife acting like that towards me if she were drunk, and I'm more likely to put up with her shite than a cop.

That right there was one trashy bitch who deserved a good wake up call in life...in reality though she'll be playing this like she was some innocent victim. I'm sure Nick is glad he didn't have to deal with her when he got home. He probably would have had to call the cops to have her removed.

The first officer didnt know they were there until he was cuffing her.

He tried to cuff her standing up and she resisted. What would you have him do?

And then what if her drunk arse falls down the stairs? Good chance you're here blaming the cop for letting her fall down the stairs.

I have no sympathy for public nuisances. Imagine all the people in that apartment building that have to deal with that shite. That's who I'm thinking of while you sympathize with the shite stirrer who refused to cooperate with the police in the most basic way.

This is what drew my attention.

Before that I thought the officer did all the right things until he put her in an arm bar and slammed her to the deck, you could hear her face smack the concrete pretty easily. That's where he fricked up.

And...IF it's YOUR vehicle reportedly being BROKEN INTO/DAMAGED...is it still OK to let this lying drunk do as she pleases ? CONSEQUENCES my friend CONSEQUENCES !

I’m totally ok, in fact supportive of, the officer asking her better questions and maybe calling a colleague instead of going straight to the cuffs and then physical restraint.

And so he has to just chase her around the apartment building as she refuses to answer questions?

She wouldn't even tell him her name...what questions do you think shes willing to answer?

Except the settlement she's going to receive says that I'm right.

My best friend is a cop, I support team blue, I just don't do so blindly.

Based on at least half the responses in this thread, I predict future law enforcement is going to be vastly different.

911 caller: Someone is breaking in a truck!

Police: Are they killing anyone?

911 caller: Well no but they are stealing all my neighbors shite!

Police: OK. Well tell your neighbor to call us with a list of stolen stuff and we will write a report.

911 caller: You aren’t coming out here?

Police: No sir. The chance that we might encounter the non-violent offender and that a physical confrontation may develop are too high. Lawsuits and public sentiment have taught us that it is preferable that we don’t antagonize the situation. But we will be happy to take a report over the phone. Much safer for everyone. Thanks and have a great night.

My friend is a cop, therefore I'm an expert on all police and legal matters.

I've got friends that are cops at various levels, I still don't care for cops

It's the cops job to administer those wake up calls eh?

By slamming her face into concrete when she was no threat to anyone?

“Cops are always sensitive to those situations“

Apparently not.

I support LEO but that cop was trying to spin her words into a confession of guilt. He saw nothing and everything was based off what people think they saw.

No, it doesn't. All it means is that law enforcement has bean counters and know how much it will cost them to fight it. That is ALL it means.

That's not all it means, they know what their chances of winning are, and in this case next to zero.

The cop was wrong (in just this one moment, not the rest).

Likely he WAS trying to get her to admit something... It would help defuse the situ. like all of you drunk girl defenders want. To my knowledge she had not been 'mirandized' so it wouldn't have mattered.

Damn, you guys are implying he should have questioned her more... Which he NO DOUBT would have done until she attempted to leave...

And the fact HE hasn't seen her do anything is pointless. She WAS SEEN by others.
