When it’s all said and done, will history look upon the United States in the same way it looks upon Rome, Greece, and other great and powerful nations that held sway over the world at one one or another? Or will it be in a different light?

That we had a great empire and pissed it away by giving power to those who wished to destroy us. Just like Rome.

An experiment in government that went awry when its leaders abandoned the advice of the Founding Fathers and transformed itself from a constitutional republic to an empire hell bent on perpetual war with the rest of the world.

OFFICER: "But sir, we've lost the colonies! What will History say?"

GENERAL BURGOYNE: "History? History will tell lies of course."

Well, if it’s any consolation, Rome lasted in one form or another for more than a millennia.

My hope is that socialism and globalism trash Europe first as we watch and learn from across the ocean.

If History tells the truth, the United States will be remembered as an experiment born of The Enlightenment, and destroyed when that same Enlightenment philosophy went berserk and permitted the most important historical event since Columbus -- the infiltration of the West by Muslims.

Once strong, turned pussy, young and dumb, their own worst enemy. The melting pot who finally burned out.

Probably a lot like Alexander the Great's Empire. Started small, grew rapidly, eventually conquered much of the known world, but didn't last very long despite leaving a permanent mark everywhere it went.

The US will be remembered for NYC being the first city wiped from the face of this planet by nuclear device.
