How white supremacy changed Herbie Husker, who's no longer signaling 'a-OK'

For nearly 50 years, fans have loved the burly Husker mascot who wears blue overalls, sports a big red cowboy hat and keeps an ear of corn in his pocket. The depiction of the blonde-haired, blue-eyed farmer with a barrel chest and chiseled chin is, for many Nebraskans, a representation of the state itself.

For nearly all that time, Herbie Husker has held a football in one hand and thrown up an “a-OK” sign with the other. But if you’ve paid close attention, you may have noticed a change.

Now, Herbie’s left hand shows “we’re No. 1.”

The reason for that slight switch: white supremacists.

Internet trolls and white supremacy groups have tried to turn the OK sign into a symbol of white power, claiming the three fingers up form a W and the circle and wrist form a P.

That, in turn, gave Herbie’s OK sign a potential meaning his creators never intended.

What a clown show.

Oh look, the media lying again. The origin of that is actually that the trolls wanted to see if they could get the idiots of the world to actually believe it stood for white power, not that it actually did. They wanted to prove, and succeeded in proving, that the media and their acolytes were stupid.

Do these people not get what the troll was? To make these idiots associate one of the most common hand gestures with something it’s NOT ACTUALLY ASSOCIATED WITH.

It was a joke, a prank.

If would be like some trolls telling you that milk is a drink of “white supremacy”, and so then they ban milk and milk products and claim everyone who eats cheese is a “white supremacist.”

It’s so creepy with the movement. You can almost hear the top bird talking dirty.

Got an actual link to this?
What specific "white supremacy" group claims this creation?

It's an amazing demonstration of the insanity of progressivism. They should do "thumbs up" next.

Ooh ooh ooh…let’s tell them that abortion is a symbol of white supremacy since it overwhelmingly kills black babies and they are predominantly placed in low income neighborhoods.

No they haven't.

Internet trolls are showing people how stupid they are. And the media is proving them right.

White supremacy groups aren't doing anything.
