About the same way they handle middle lines, stop signs, yield signs, and traffic lights....stupidly.

About the only nice thing while passing through Baton Rouge is the view of the lakes. Note the noise barriers on the maps.

Damn you’re right.. 14’ noise barrier across the lakes. I guess the folks living around City Park Lake must have lobbied for the barriers?

I explain them like this: You can't get in the roundabout until you can, and once you're in, you can do whatever you want.

One a scale of 1-10 with 1 being not able to handle it at all and 10 being able to navigate with perfection. I’d say a hard 2.

Louisiana drivers are so good that a personal injury attorney just built a large office right next to that traffic circle with cameras monitoring said circle 24/7

The Walker one is comical, I've seen people literally drive straight over it along with several accidents. The afternoons with the schools are horrible as it backs up and people get in the other Lane trying to cut off those up.front

The one in Covington/Goodbee across from Hannan is a fricking goat ranch.

Louisiana still has a lot of low iq people who freak out at the thought of anything slightly different or innovative.

On top of that, they build roundabouts way too small in Louisiana. An actual real roundabout that is properly sized is much easier to navigate and flow in/out of.

I can't help but chuckle at the 40' diameter roundabouts that have multiple lanes. Like how much time do you really have to make a lane change in a roundabout that small?

Forget about the roundabouts, we need camera footage of all the people trying to figure out the new u-turns in Covington.
